Advanced Search allows you to find your search terms within a particular search field (also known as a "property" or "metadata field"). An explanatory list of available properties is available. You may include as many properties in your search as you like. Choose "All" to search across all available properties. Unless you know the exact term you are looking for, such as the formal version of a person's name (i.e. Kennedy, John F. (John Fitzgerald), 1917-1963), it is best to search using "CONTAINS" rather than "EQUALS". Please note that Advanced Search does not currently include OCR full text versions of scanned documents, PDF transcripts of Oral History Interviews, or finding aids.
