The Swissotel Nankai Osaka has been teaming up with German airline Lufthansa for the last two years in the carrier's acclaimed Star Chef program for passengers on select flights. The hotel is offering some of the specially produced meals at its Japanese restaurant, meals usually served only to passengers on Lufthansa flights from Kansai International Airport to Frankfurt airport.

The Star Chef is Lufthansa's in-flight meal project that works with top chefs from around the world to create delicacies for their first- and business-class passengers.

The menu will be changed periodically. From now through Feb. 29, a range of seasonal Japanese dishes such as scallops and shiitake, and snow crab sushi will be offered.

The menu is available at lunchtime from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and at dinnertime from 6 to 9 p.m. at ¥8,400 per person including tax.
