My granddaughter-(that has been around the family pet)-all of her 2yrs of life, and last night when she started crying it made the 6yr old pit-bull go nuts and attack her, she went through surgery last night to put her face back together.
My son was part of the people who where opposing a bill that would ban certain breeds of dogs from living in town. I remember the poster my son carried at the rally, it was one of my granddaughter sleeping with the dog, and the caption read-(I trust my child's life with my dog)-well this morning that trust is gone !!! If you read any books on animal-(dogs)-behaviour, and or characteristics.You will clearly see some dogs where bred for over 100yrs to act a certain way. I know any dog could bite, or even be mean, but that's the exception-not the long history of breeding to obtain certain reactions
