IEEE Technical Activities Strategy Initiative
In 2007, IEEE Technical Activities (TA) Strategic Planning Committee considered several challenges and created a new and improved TA Strategic Plan.
This plan defines the core values of IEEE TA, a vision for the future, and sets near and long term goals, including:
- Increasing efforts to drive technology within IEEE
- Improving value to Society members
- Improving services and opportunities for young professionals within IEEE
- Creating stronger corporate value and better services for practicing engineers
