I usually am just a lurker, but I generally find your comments interesting and often insightful, even if a bit inflammatory. That said, I think you could criticize Nomura in more a civil tone (eg. using not terms like "Failmura", and so on). So I for one hope you keep on posting on this site. (I could say the same thing about kamiboy as well, actually)
As far as the plot holes go, I think it is a deliberate sales strategy, so that they can convince fans into buying more games.
While most of Square-Enix's developed games in the last decade have been hit or miss for me, (more on the miss than hit though) I thought that Final Fantasy 12 was very good, and what I played of Type-0 was enjoyable. I personally didn't care for 13, but even that game had things about it that I liked. So I think that it is misleading to say the company has been bad as a whole. I still prefer a game like Nier, which I liked a lot more than their recent work.
I haven't played any of the Kingdom Hearts games, (the series never appealed to me in the least) so I don't really know Nomura's style well, other than that he had influence over the art direction of Final Fantasy 7, and other games. But I think his responsibility for game/story problems outside of Kingdom Hearts and Versus 13 is more limited than we might think.
It's not even so much complex or convoluted as it is stupid. If nothing else, I blame him for introducing the idea that things which require your imagination are actually 'plot holes', which must be 'patched' through subsequent games.
Any time I'm like 'I'd be fine with TWEWY 2 if they changed the characters and everything', someone is inevitably all, "but look at all this stuff that went unresolved from the first game!!". Even if there was something unresolved, you don't need an entire game to explain it, because then you're just going to end up with more nonsense. I can see Nomura drooling over the prospect of a whole council of Angels, and several revisions to what very clearly happened in the original game.
“If you don’t make it more complex like with Final Fantasy, you won’t be able to compete."
There's a difference between "complex" and "convoluted." One relies on character development, story foreshadowing, and logical twists. The other pulls those very twists out its ass, layers one thing after another without foreshadowing, has zero character development, and relies on deus ex machinas.
Sakaguchi is wholly right. The problem? Nomura HASN'T made the games complex. He's made them into a fine, nonsensical ball of confusion. The plot is very easy to keep track of. It's just inherently, impossibly stupid as hell and convoluted beyond repair.
He is stalling KHIII because Versus XIII taught him that he can't develop on HD consoles worth a piss.
Then there's KH's unique art style, which is the other hurdle. He said KH3D is the last spin-off before KHIII. Just watch him lie his ass off in another few months.

Why is Sanger teaming up with BlackRose and Kite???
It would've been better to bring in another SRW character.

This game could and should sell a million copies. But chances are the hoards will scoff at the 2D glory.

@AuroraXIII: Toriyama's games have no affect on Versus, though. Might as well release it before since you can if the ain't coming out anytime soon!

"I was never banned before. Henceforth, he can't 'ban me again'."
I meant after having been banned from Silicon Era. smh
Anyway, you can't entirely blame Nomura for taking the story into his own hands when it was Sakaguchi who gave him this advice:
Quote- “If you don’t make it more complex like with Final Fantasy, you won’t be able to compete."
FF VersusXIII is going on six years of development, not seven. I blame Toriyama's games for being the cock-block.
"he's stalling in every way possible with the endless Kingdom Hearts spinoffs."
Haha, if you meant he's stalling KHIII, then I agree.
