Buses on 'First' services 15 (Monday - Saturday) and 16A (Sunday and Public Holidays) connect with the ferry at Eastney for the journey to or from Portsmouth, although there is no guarantee of a connection. Unfortunately there is no bus service on the Hayling side - the nearest bus stops are about a mile and a half's walk along Ferry Road at Staunton Avenue, served by Stagecoach services 30 / 31 (four per hour Monday - Saturday, hourly Sunday).
