Thursday night you did a segment on the Catholic bishops vs. Obama's policy on birth control. You stated that it was optional for catholic institutions. Unfortunately, it is not; it is mandatory. That's why the bishops are up in arms.
Alyona. I watched an old Happy Hour in which you were discussing a story in which a woman severed a man's penis and threw it in a garbage disposal. You were amused and, overall, quite flippant about it. If a man cut off a woman's nipples and clitoris and threw them in a garbage disposal you would not be amused nor flippant. You would be disgusted. That makes you, on this issue, a grade A hypocrite. Of course, this one news item does not take away from the many interesting and valuable insights you offer. However, I have noticed on your program that, particularly with male guests, you seem noticeably more comfortable with either men that totally agree with you or men that seem, to me, somewhat effeminate. I know that in many circles, especially east coast liberal ones, "girl power" and shaming men are quite chic. You seem better than that to me. I urge you to think about where you are coming from as a person and how it relates to you as a news presenter. Not because anyone is going to make you. Not because I asked you to. But, because it's professionally and morally the right thing to do. Thank you.
Hi Alyona. How many more times? How many more times are we going to be fed stories of anthropogenic global warming (AGW)? Why do people like Chris Mooney insist on saying that scientists are solidly behind it, when the vast majority are provably not? It doesn't take much research to find out that the man-made global warming theory is based on 'junk science'. The general public have developed a dependence on the science-through-media & it leaves a sour taste in the mouth when people take advantage of this fact, so they can bleed the public dry of what little funds they have left, through carbon taxes etc.. The fact that the Earth is going through a cooling period at the moment seems to be ignored by these people. The difference between the so-called 'climate deniers' & people like Chris Mooney is that the former will explain, with a myriad of facts, why AGW just doesn't hold water, while the latter spend their time knocking & denigrating, because their 'facts' have been proven wrong & that's all they have left. The Earths climate is constantly changing & to blame it on humans is just silly. Enough!! Stop it!

That sounds like a FOX News viewer to me... either that or someone who, when confronted by a woman more intelligent than yourself (for the love of god man! Did they not teach you grammar?) you default to remarks about how the woman must be as you put it "eye candy".
Either way your opinion belongs in the dark ages.

I love your show I've been watching for the past 2 yrs. I belive that your program has really informed me of what's really going on / wrong in the US . I think it's a shame that some news programs focus on ratings and the everyday non-sense of celebs and polictical cat fighting. I hope you and the RT staff keep up the good work. .
