Purely based upon supply, it is bound to stay high and/or go higher. The rule of supply and demand dictates. The price of diminishing natural resources, like oil, can never fall, unless... demand falls because of alternative fuels, or they find a load of new oil fields (which is unlikely to happen).

Richard 13 May, 2011, 01:06 The longer oil prices remain in the clutches/control of USA you are guaranteed of continued increases. There is no need for these disgusting prices - just the greed of USA. USA shut down all of it oil producing mines and will open them when the time is right, and that time is when the oil from the rest of the world is dried up. That way USA will have total control. Why the hell do you think USA has been battling to gain control of Russia? If it wasn't for Putin and his strong stance against the West, the Russians wouldhave lost everything to USA and you will under the control (mind control as well) of the USA government. All you Russians need to think and thank Vladimir Putin for saving your country and making it what it is today.
