1899 - 1951

A Russian novelist, playwright and publicist, Andrey Platonov was a writer of tragic vision.

The style he pursued in his work was unique and didn't fit into any of literary trends in 20th century. Rough language, metaphorical images and a philosophical system created a very specific, Platonov-esque style in Russian literature.
