Waste Heat Recovery
A majority of energy production from both conventional and renewable sources is lost to the atmosphere due to onsite and offsite (cable and transformer) losses -- estimated to be up to 66% loss in electricity value.
Waste heat recovery units are an energy recovery heat exchanger that recovers heat from hot streams, such as diesel generators, cooling towers, or air conditioners. Waste heat recovery units add to the efficiency of building energy needs and thus decrease the costs of fuel and energy consumption needed, as well as dramatically reducing thermal and air pollution, since most of the energy is recycled.
