LOS ANGELES -- Two of the NFL’s best reconvened in Los Angeles for a Super Bowl rematch playing Call of Duty in an Epic Grudge Match. Super Bowl Champ Ahmad Bradshaw of the New York Giants took on Pro Bowler Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots in Los Angeles. The two played new Collection 1 DLC for Modern Warfare 3. The new DLC is stockpiled with not only four Multiplayer/Survival Mode Maps, but two Special Ops Missions, giving players six pieces of content, a first for the franchise. Although Formula One Racing isn’t huge in the U.S., where NASCAR reigns, Codemasters continues to find global success with the sport selling millions of copies of the F1 game franchise. With the new season of F1 racing underway, the game publisher and developer is bringing a new game to PC and consoles this September. Codemasters just released F1 2011 for Sony’s PlayStation Vita at launch, but F1 2012 will be driving across PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.

EA Sports has partnered with the Leo Messi Foundation, a popular street football field in Barcelona will be brought back to life through a complete upgrade and refurbishment in 2012. The field, located in the Bon Pastor neighborhood of Barcelona and in disrepair for several years, will be outfitted with a new state-of-the-art surface, side boards, goals and much more, creating a high-quality and safe environment for the youth of Barcelona to enjoy. Messi serves as the cover athlete and ambassador for the FIFA games and this initiative was timed with the launch of the new FIFA Street game.

Today marks the start of the NCAA Football 13 My Heisman Cover Vote, which allows fans to cast their vote on the EA SPORTS NCAA Football Facebook page for one of eight Heisman Trophy winners to accompany former Baylor University quarterback Robert Griffin III on the cover of EA SPORTS NCAA Football 13. Developed in Orlando, Florida by EA Tiburon, and licensed by The Collegiate Licensing Company, a division of IMG College, NCAA Football 13 will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on July 10.

Also available is the much anticipated The Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector’s Edition Expansion pack, featuring in-game Katy Perry-themed outfits, props and objects.

According to Forbes, pop singing sensation Justin Bieber spent a day performing motion-capture for NBA 2K13. 2K Sports worked with Bieber and his crew in Los Angeles on February 21st to capture their hoops moves, possibly for the game’s rumored celebrity street ball mode.
