It seems to me that this game deserved more than a 7.

I would like to see it ported to the PC...

Looks pretty good. Definately not as good as MGS, but pretty good.

No story line, but it's one of the better vita games out.

7.0 is 7.0 higher than what I thought this game was gonna get.
    Great review!

I'm way too glad to see no xenophobic (for want of a better word) comments throughout the page! LOVE you and your reviews for being totally unique!!

Peacewalker is a good example of a portable military shooter with great gameplay, great graphics (for its console) and bite-sized missions that also adds that extra layer of heart and narrative that pushes it from being a solid time waster into a full blown classic.

I'm a big fan of this game- pretty much every time I'm on public transit I try to knock out a mission and the length of most of them are just right for a portable game. It's lots of fun and for the most part you have to think a lot harder than in other TPS games because of the quick deaths and relatively smart enemies. That being said, I think 7.0 is a fair score (personally would've given it 7.5). It looks great, plays great and while the character banter is nice, I think if they formed some kind of narrative to tie the missions together (even a loose one) and gave the characters a bit more personality, it could've bumped up to an 8.0-8.5 - It's still a great purchase, and those who like military shooters will dig it, but it's not quite a "you-should-buy-a-Vita-just-to-play-this" kind of game.

This review was very fair. I think people should pay less attention to scores and more attention to the actual points that the reviewer is making.

You see, this is exactly what I meant on my comment to Jane's Journey review. Carolyn spoke so clearly and passionately about the game that not only did I understood every single word she said, I am also compelled to buy a game which I was not intrigued with or interested to get in the beginning. This is how a video review should be done. Clear, concised, and gets you interested in playing the game (if it is good).
