If what you expect is an old-style Final Fantasy game, then this is the game you should go for, much better than that"Kubo Kubo Kubo~"Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Hey now...That's not fair...Who said I'm against having both options available? It's just that in such a case I would choose the Japanese track. Also, I'm a fan of keeping to the original language in a game in general, not just Japanese. If it's an English game, I play it in English. If it's a Japanese game, I play it in Japanese, if I can. And you're blaming people like me who prefer the original language for the fact that some games like Yakuza don't have voiceovers? Seriously? News flash: People like me are much worse of, as the other way around is more common. For instance, if I want to play FFXIII-2 in Japanese (hint: I do), I'l have to import the Chinese version, which is the only version that has Japanese voices with English subtitles. You think YOU have it rough? Hah! Don't make me laugh!

@TeslaCoi1 some of us prefer to play in english so that we can focus more on the game than subtitles it id rather have a choice of one or the other so that both type of fans can get what they want too bad that yakuza isn't getting that treatment due to fans like you it really pisses me off.

@TeslaCoi1 I agree with that 100 percent, they were, after all, the creators, so it is only natural to use that language if any voice is to be heard (just as long as they include subtitles in english).

Personally I don't want to play it in English at all. British OR American. I want to play it in Japanese...

@wowwow27 erm no you said, and I quote "I hate the english voice over" followed by a disparaging comment about how you thank god there arent more British voiced games ...

And I dont know where getting over myself is needed here :S I didnt know telling a kid he's ignorant was vain and self indulgent. There's expressing a view, and theres showing a distinct tendency for racism in public What did you expect? A pat on the back?

Dont have time for ignorant kids so say what ever you think is clever, I shant even be checking it

@penpusher thats my view, I hate all voice overs (especially in a jRPG). Get over yourself.

@wowwow27 so what about the 99% of games that have all or almost all american accent actors in it? Is that more you idea of open? "Accents suck" has to be the most ridiculous comment I've ever read. Everyone has an accent!

these voice-overs make me want to vomit. Love the music in it, though!

  • wowwow27

@penpusher Accents suck, period. They force a particular characteristic on you, and I believe games should be as wide open as possible.

I can see a few comments actually complaining about the English accents here :S Speaking as an Englishman (not just a brit, there are more nationalities in Britian than just English!) we have have to hear American accents in about 99% of the games available in this country, as if it were the only english speaking nation on earth and we dont get put out by it.

So trust me, the occassional English accent cast in games wont kill you. Stop being so ignorant.
