so i'm new here, and i gotta say, i really like the "spoilers" frame before the review. how nice. anyways, i'm not surprised to read, watch, and hear about another mediocre silent hill game. will things ever be as good as they once were? i think not, something about nostalgia and rose tinted glasses....

So true about that title track not fitting the game at all. Terrible way to start the review I almost stopped watching as soon as I heard that song. Game look good tho.

@scarletsnake There is no regenerating health whatsoever. Only the med packs you have in your inventory heal you. And I really does looks a lot like Big Boss, I think that's awesome.

WTF?!! He looks exactly like Big Boss from MGS3 without a beard...
Looks like my kind of game, please tell me there's no re-generating health.

@Bensonator That's a good idea. Also try to find the first Silent Hill game for the Playstation which is a very unique game with incredible atmoshere and music.

Nevr played a Slient Hill game before but from comments below, am concidering the HD trilogy first i think. Then picking this up later for cheap so I can enjoy the development of the game series.

This game isn't perfect but I love it regardless of the flaws. Silent Hill is finally back to it's classic roots and I love this game for that. It does what the Silent Hill games after 4 have lost sight of. Its scary, and It has a great pace to it as well. It did take a little time to get used to the freedom they give you at first. I had to get lost a lot. Yes this game does not hold your hand through every little event like most games today. It gives you a lot of freedom to do what you want and that is awesome and so rare nowadays. There is still room for improvement but Vatra did a great job at breathing life back into Silent Hill again.

I got this game yesterday(I got my ticket for the tramway to Devil's pit) and loving this game. This is a great game the combat is good i like it the graphics is better then I have seen in the Silent hill series.atmospheric graphics design is amazing and storyline is awesome and that is what makes a Silent Hill game great.IGN gave this game a 4.5, (in my opinion a unfair review) A 6-7 minute video review is not going to convince me.A video reviewer can edit the video review to show what they want you to see. That is why I lough at video reviews(I put no trust in no video review) I use my judgment.
