Application Process

All universities and colleges have their own entrance requirements. Before you start applying, see if you meet the basic requirements and then see more details from our programmes list.

General Entrance Requirements

• You have graduated or you will graduate (in the same year as you apply) secondary school in case of applying for undergraduate courses (bachelor level) or higher education in terms of Postgraduate courses (master level).
• You are highly motivated to study in the chosen institution and programme
• You have very good English language skills (both in written and oral language).
• You are up for the challenge to change your life completely and go to study abroad.

Before the Application

If you have checked that you meet the general entrance requirements, there are some more things to think about and actions to take:

• Talk with your friends. Find out if some of your friends have had experience like this - studying and/or living abroad. Talk with them ask what you should do and what you should look for from this experience, what was most challenging for them and what is most important for you to consider before you go
• Contact Hakes office in your country. These people are there to help and assist you in many ways. They are professionals, but also as your friends you can rely on.
• Think about different options you have. There are many ways to have experience abroad. See for example about EU mobility programs in your country. If your main interest is still education, then you should definitely apply for international education abroad.
• Think about your future, profession and ambitions. Education, abroad or at home, is the basis of your professional career. Studying in the specific program is just a start, but try to imagine yourself also working in the field. Consult with some people who are working in the field you are interested in and ask how their every day work looks like. Think if this is what you would like to do and dedicate your professional life to?

Application process

We have a completely on-line application system. All the data can be filled in the form and necessary documents can be uploaded in the system.

How the application system works?

1st - you have to register on our web to become a user.

2nd - log yourself in.

3rd - click "Apply Now!"

4th - choose the preferred programs you would like to go to study.

5th - fill in all required fields and upload all the necessary documents (which you can at this time).

6th - if you have all the programs chosen, form is filled and documents uploaded, click "Send".

Most common documents asked on admission

• Passport (suggestably at least three years to expiry date).
• Documents of your previous education (high school or higher education): the final diploma, exam results sheet and grade sheet.
• Academic reference - a letter of recommendation from your teacher in English.
• 11th grade grades' transcript
• A letter of recommendation from your employer in English (in case you have any work experience and you want to point it out).

In case of Hakes on-line application you need to scan these documents and upload in the system.

What is going to happen with my application after "sending"it?

Hakes looks trough all the applications. If there is some information missing, adittional request will be made for you and you should answer as fast as possible. After the application is complete, it will be sent to the institutions where you applied.
