Aberystwyth University's Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards have been voted the best available at any British university in 2007/08. More information about scholarships etc.

All EU nationals are eligible to apply for the Welsh Assembly tuition fee grant.
Applicants need to fill in form EU8N (student loan application form - whether they want a loan or not) to get this grant. Then they will be automatically sent for EU8B to apply for the "Aberystwyth Bursary" (£1000 per year).

ACCOMMODATION

At Aber you can live in one of the finest campuses in the British university system and there is also a lot of good quality private accommodation available in town, which is only a few minutes walk away. The University Accommodation Office maintains a regularly updated register of private addresses suitable for student use and the staff is familiar with the properties and are happy to advise students who may be experiencing difficulties in private sector accommodation.

The main University Campus is situated on a pleasantly landscaped site overlooking Cardigan Bay and the town of Aberystwyth where students can combine the peace and beauty of the countryside with the attractions of the coastal resort of Aberystwyth.
The residences provide a choice of accommodation, ranging from self-catering accommodation, some with en suite facilities through to catered residences. All university accommodation is convenient for the campuses so that there is no need for costly commuting and to help you with your work, all study bedrooms have computer internet links with free access to the web.
Accommodation prices start at £42.00 per week.
