Story of Hakes

Hakes was founded in 2004 and in a couple of years time it became one of the best known study abroad organisatsions in Europe, helping hundreds of people to go to study abroad every year to get a life-changing experience. I am proud of what we have managed to achieve and happy for all those people that have had the possibility to go to study abroad.

In early autumn 2008 I was forced to leave of Hakes due to different visions with my partners in Hakes. It was difficult for me as I had put my heart into the organization I had once started. It was only in February 2010 that, thanks to the tricky roads of destiny, I gained back the rights of the Hakes website.

I am especially sorry that in the past 1.5 years many things have happened in Hakes that I cannot agree to. That includes requesting of deposits without such agreement with universities.

But there is good in every bad. I took my experience, vision and dreams along to help building something extraordinary, an organisation that cares and really wants to help people - like the Hakes we once used to know. With people closest to me I have started Dream Foundation, now one of the biggest organisations in the study abroad field.

Today Dream Foundation is operating in nearly 20 countries in Europe offering many excellent universities, great courses and the best online application system available. Applying to study abroad with the help of Dream Foundation is easy and affordable - I believe that studying abroad shouldn't cost a fortune and the application process should be simple.

Overall, I'm happy that this period is now finally over. My wish is still to help anyone who wants to go to study abroad. And I'm glad that you have now an opportunity to do that through Dream Foundation.
