Oh yes, Herzog Zwei. Crap, somebody told me about that two weeks and I forgot.

Thanks for the reminder, and I have to add that I did not play Herzog Zwei.

Then you probably never heard of Herzog Zwei..yes its the same gameplay, and yes it uses mecha themes.

And no...it hasn't been done many times, if I I'm right this is actually the SECOND time...considering that Herzog Zwei is released in late 1989, this is actually saying something.

As far as I care, the presence of mecha in games, either as prominent player characters or not, is just a matter of themes.

While I am aware that AirMech's gameplay has been done many times before, I do not recall a game with such gameplay that uses mecha themes.

@Gelugon_baat - By "don't see these as often" it would generally mean, there is only one OTHER game like AirMech in existance.

Its also a strategy game...in case you didn't know...

If you like Mechs, you can check out MechWarrior Online or Hawken - but really, these games have gameplay that has been done before many times.

But a Massive Online Battle Arena game with mecha themes? I don't see these as often as the likes of these "mech sims".
