U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder does not believe his handling of operation “Fast & Furious” has become a distraction to President Barack Obama. He confirmed this to the Washington Times on Thursday night in Washington. A.G. Holder would not comment on when he thought the Inspector General would release her report on the botched gun walking operation.

Two House Democrats have already called upon the Justice Department’s Acting Inspector General Cynthia Schnedar to release her report on her investigation of Fast and Furious before the November elections.

Senator Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary, and Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican and Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee have not only called upon Attorney General Eric Holder to release all 80,000 documents pertaining to Fast and Furious but also recently questioned the independence of Inspector General’s investigation.
