Debris Accumulation

Clean-up operations:

• We have revised the completion date for Scrivener Dam & Yarramundi Reach to Friday 18 February 2011 as a lot of small material is still required to be collected. The bulk of the large debris has now been removed;
• Central Basin completed on Friday 24 December 2010;
• Tarcoola Reach completed Wednesday 12 January 2011;
• West Lake completed Wednesday 19 January 2011;
• West Basin completed Friday 21 January 2011;
• All islands completed Friday 21 January 2011; and
• East Basin completed Monday 31 January 2011.

Next Phase of Works

The Request For Quotation (RFQ) for a suitably qualified contractor to remove stockpiles from beach areas and undertake remediation services closed Thursday 10 February 2011. A 2-3 week window is anticipated for the removal of the 5 stockpile sites around Lake Burley Griffin.
