Mr Garfield Bishop B.E.M.

Based in Wales, Garfield was the founder of the World Championships which was first held in 1974, and his band Fochriw Mini Paraders competed for many years in the UK.  Garfield has been with the movement since the early 70's and was a key player in the formation of the United Kingdom Federation of Jazz Bands which was set up to stop the exploitaiton from carnival organisations.

Carol has been with the movement for many years running Blucher Bluetonians as well as being part of the Tyne Tees Association.  The past few years Carol has represented the Northern Region as Chairperson, before taking up her current post for the UKFJB. 

Field Officer

Colin has been with the movement for many years and was once a drummer himself.  He assisted with Roseworth Kioras for many years as well being part of the North East Association and Northern Region
