    really now? are we that worried about this not being a "true battlefield" experience? Shouldn't we really embrace a game shines in all aspects of its gameplay, close quarters or open field?

    Why not have a game that is great at simulating a firefight in every manner (big or small), rather than just one. The fact that battlefield 3 will now be cater to both types of engagements is just more icing on the cake. And this trailer is eye candy.

    Other expansions are on the way. The game will grow and evolve, just as battlefield 2 did.

    It's true that close quarters is not what Battlefield is about, but you have to admit that nobody does close quarters as well as Battlefield. I still get chills when I play on Operation Metro.

    1 week early on PS3 because Sony filled EA's pockets. Same goes to you Microsoft for doing that crap with Call of Duty.

    im not sure if i will buy these, i more enjoy the classic large scale style maps. It actually makes me glad that there releasing the kind of maps i like in one pack and the kind i hate in another.

    Golly gosh darn yes this looks awesome. Sure BF3 is all about big maps but why not mix it up a bit and give COD a run for its money? Besides, I've always wanted a good reason to bust out that striker shotgun and now I do...
