Finding better solutions

If you’re an airport, air navigation service provider or other aviation related business, you’re faced with tough challenges on a day to day basis. To help you meet them you should consider working with proven partners that have a history of safety and adding value.

NATS’ commercial services provide the understanding and technological innovations to solve these issues. When you partner with us you gain access to the substantial backing, expertise and resources of the NATS group – an organisation that has grown up with and contributed towards many of the standards for the UK aviation industry.

What we do

We provide answers to the critical issues faced by airports, ANSPs and the aviation industry around the world. What makes us unique is our ability to deliver comprehensive, turnkey solutions. We don’t simply address your issues in isolation: we always bear in mind the bigger picture.

You have the reassurance that we have tackled some of the most complex projects in the industry, giving us experience that helps us understand the challenges you face and deliver real value.

History

In 2001, the UK Government part-privatised NATS (National Air Traffic Services). NATS En Route Ltd (NERL) was granted a licence to provide services in en route and oceanic airspace, while NATS Services Ltd was created as the commercial arm of the NATS Group.

Today, customers around the world use NATS to solve their most challenging issues, where cost and capacity must be satisfied without compromising safety and resilience.
