PAX Prime 2011: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Collector's Edition

Nintendo wasn't afraid to show off its latest stuff at PAX Prime this past weekend in Seattle.  Among the highlights of their booth were several playable kiosks for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, a game that'll be thrashing its way to Nintendo Wii this November.  If you're a fan and can't wait to get the game, you might want to put down your money on the collector's edition coming your way.  It's got some cool goodies.

This collector's package, which is due to hit stores on the same date as the regular edition of the game, will come with two extra goodies that fans will definitely appreciate.  The first is a soundtrack CD, so you can take the game's music with you wherever you go.  But if you really want to get excited, how's this -- a limited edition Zelda Wii remote.

You heard correctly.  The Collector's Edition of Skyward Sword comes with a customized gold Wii controller, with a Legend of Zelda emblem imprinted on the front.  This will make your playing experience with the game feel even more like an authentic experience -- well, at least more than holding a typical white controller, anyhow.

Pricing will be set at a very reasonable $69.99.  Good deal to get as a package, though that's the only way to get the controller, as it won't be sold separately.  But who cares?  GO PRE-ORDER!

Our take: this is a must-have.  And hey, you don't even need to pay for a season pass!
