Make your first stop the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre. Located on Northbourne Ave, you will drive by the centre when you drive into the city from Melbourne on the Barton Highway or from Sydney on the Federal Highway.
Open seven days a week, the friendly staff can answer all your holiday questions and point you in the right direction with maps and information on all of Canberra’s attractions and things to see and do, plus you can book Canberra accommodation and buy tickets to many events, exhibitions, tours and attractions.
There is also a well-stocked shop of souvenirs, travel essentials and displays highlighting must see and must do experiences.
