SMAKR has been running since October 1998 and provides the most informative kit reviews on the internet and continues to be updated regularly. There are no affiliations with any modelling manufacturers and SMAKR is not sponsored in any way (the pop up advertising banners are imposed by the free web hosting service not by me) meaning the reviews on this site are also unbiased.
Reviews are especially beneficial when considering purchasing a plastic kit to help you make make an informed decision. It provides you with some idea how good or bad the product is going to be, what skills are needed to build it, what's in the kit and all the other things us modellers want to know about! Reviewers are readers like yourself, and review contributions are always welcome.

SMAKR is a FREE resource, managed by one person for the love of the hobby. It is a KIT REVIEW site, NOT a Hobby Store, NOT an online magazine and does NOT receive any income from any sort to run the site (including the pop up advertising). If you have a question please read the Information Requests page FIRST before sending an email.
