A comprehensive approach to solar technology

Solar Trust of America will be employing photovoltaic technology at the 1,000 MW Blythe Solar Power Project. When completed, the facility will be the largest solar facility in the world and the first to compete in size and scope with the largest coal and nuclear plants.

Solar Trust of America’s Blythe Project was developed with a conscientious approach to the natural environment and local cultures. Our project will provide hundreds of direct jobs to the Riverside County economy during construction.

A mindful approach to the environment

As part of our extensive state and federal review process, Solar Trust of America incorporated recommendations from several leading environmental groups to minimize potential environmental impacts from the Blythe project. The project will also annually reduce CO2 emissions by 2 million tons and will contribute to State clear air goals.
