Just for laughs...what will ending a beloved series the way Bioware did in future be called?

    Pulling a Bioware?
    Pulling a Hudson?
    Embracing Enternity?
    ?

i don't want that Bioware alters the end! but i would like one "that what happens now" add-on! ( spoiler) i don't know the oders ends yet, but on my end after the scene of normandy crew in that planet, it gets back to the remainings part of the cidadel, to shepard body! Appears only his chest, and suddenly he breathes!! so shepard is alive!!

@djforlife84 100% agree with you. I hope bioware doesn't alter the ending in the slightest. Sometimes gamers look like 3 year old kids who enrage for a bag of crisps or candy.

P.S. I played all 3 games with same character. With all DLC installed. I actually played them in a roe... in the month before ME3... so do not dare telling me i don't understand what ME is. Thank you.

@djforlife84 i totally agree with you. Some opinions are so puerile. I actually loved the ending. Seeing Joker and EDI made Shepard's sacrifice (if he really did die) worthy. I hate the ending because it doesn't give me more details. What happened next. What happened to Shepard and the others... But there are ways to explain all these later... just keep the hope burning.
These Stop Koni, Stop Acta kids now want to change a game ending!? What next... petition Tolkien to bring Boromir back to life?

since this was deleted under trolling. figures the typical loser baby kids on here cannot handle the truth so you go crying to your moderators. lol THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. so cut and past. ah yes! the mass effect community is just as retarded as the COD community. Are you for real people? do you not realize how SELFISH and STUPID everyone sounds screaming for a new ending to the game? SERIOUSLY ARE YOU FOR REAL? this is soooooo laughable to me. This prooves how messed up the video game kids are these days. And yes, I refer to every single person on these boards as a kid, becuase in reality, THAT IS EXACTLY HOW EVERYONE ACTS ON HERE. grow the hell up already. online petitions to bioware to change the ending etc. THAT IS THE MOST PATHETIC LOSER SELFISH thing I have ever heard. I cannot get over how mental the people on here are... no wonder video games are going downhill... you have a bunch of raging morons giving their opinion like it actually means something. I really hope Bioware does NOTHING to the game. maybe after a few months everyone will shut their mouths about it and move on the the next game that then they can flame on. GIVE ME THIS, I WANT THAT, CHANGE THIS, NERF THIS, ENDING SUCK MAKE A NEW ONE... sounds like a whiny child baby to me...

my god the entire gamestop boards are nothing but a bunch of loser babies. have fun complaing about every little thing in video games. you bunch of selfish brats.

@kiopta Your right. It felt like a very rushed ending. ***Spoilers***...It did tie in because it was always implied that there was a greater force simply using the reapers to accomplish a task, and so it had to end with us finding out who or what that was but it felt as though they had written the whole series except the final reveal of who was behind it all and then at the end of development they thought "hang on, we forgot something, we're supposed to be explaining it all by showing who's idea it was to purge the majority of existence every 50,000 years" and then just tacked on the ending that everyone is complaining about. tbh I didnt mind the ending all that much, what with the confusion as to exactly why the reapers were destroying everything there needed to be a reasonably logical explanation at the end of the series but I think the developers were trying to hard to make it like all those films u see with a big twist or reveal right at the end, but that doesn't work as well in a video game, especially a long running series, because it takes away the feeling of being in control that the game did so well at providing up until that point. I didn't mind the subject matter of the ending but it was rushed and could have probably been extended into a 4th game even if padded out.

I am so against gamer entitlement syndrom that has been going around but that is not what is causeing the ME ending fires. Its more about how radically different Bioware made the last 5-10 mins of the series from what the rest of the masterful series is about. I (perhaps speak for the vast majority who have played and carried THEIR Shepard through all 3 games) felt like MY Shepard and all the choices I made, all the battles I fought, all the relationships I made in the series meant nothing in the end. Its like going to the Super Bowl just to see to fat guys in speedos (of differing colors mind you) playing chess at the 50 yard line....thats a real bad WTF moment not a good one. SPOILER:::::::::::I have no prob with the ultimate sacrifice but it felt rushed and out of place...with no closure, many confusing plot holes, the (honestly only 3) ending choices were very very similar and offered only a Sherwin Williams color palet. Do you get it now? Am I wrong or missing something?

  • Twikee86

    Posted Mar 17, 2012 12:59 pm GMT

I chose the blue ending cause blue is pretty and I really like blue and it made everything blue! I put as much thought in my choice as Bioware put thought in the ending....
    Rage On!

Well i've just begun playing Mass Effect for the first time ever! I'm 4 hours into Mass Effect 1. The main thing i noticed after about 2 1/2 hours of play was that there was some crappy looking noise blemishing the games graphics! What was it? I'm in 720p right? So i get into the options - graphics and see "Film Grain" and "Motion Blur" as options turned on! Ah hah! I turned film Grain OFF and left Motion Blur ON, Film Grain SUCKS! I'm so glad i was able to turn it off! Good game so far! I had to force myself to turn off the game!

no guide can stop the ending from ruining this game. Every other mission is either a self sacrifice of shepards mentality or of his companions. It gets predictable, so does the dialogue and it becomes stale and dry. The entire game is in a shade of grey where your choices don't even freaking matter really unlike me1-2. I wish I never played this.

k-guy, if i'm not mistaken u get them in the spectre requisitions, either in the embassies sector or in the procurement terminal in normandy's shuttle bay. if i'm wrong, please correct me.

paris is right, i can perfectly recall some missions in my journal that gone missing, the ambassador's son was one of them for instance. later i completed the n7 mission in benning, found the dog tags and the ambassador was no longer in the citadel. btw, where is the rest of the guide?
    cheers!

Make sure you've completed all the mission you want on the Citadel, as several will disappear and become inaccessible after clearing Tuchanka. he states right in the guide

    Posted Mar 13, 2012 1:23 pm GMT

They should also let people know that you can miss many of these if you wait too long and progress to0 far into the priority missions.

    Posted Mar 12, 2012 9:56 am GMT

The encryption device purchased at the spectre requesitions terminal is given to the turian standing alone at the rear balcony of the second level of the embassy area. I think his name was "Derrick" or something similar.

On the "Hanar Diplomat" side quest:

If you recruited Kasumi in ME2, and she survived the suicide mission, then the final confrontation of this quest will have no Interrupt, and between you and Kasumi, you will save Bau's life, stop the viral upload, earning a bunch of war assets and Reputation, Paragon points, along with a nice XP bonus for your troubles.

It might be a good idea to mention that the info for Bilal Osoba isn't in the Spectre computer if you found his dog tags on Benning

  • pipeline3104

    Posted Mar 11, 2012 12:12 pm GMT

Why is it that Gamespot walkthroughs are always missing half of the game's content? I mean just look at this and the Skyrim walkthrough which I think they have given up on.

  • tex242

    Posted Mar 11, 2012 11:07 am GMT

Can anyone tell me where to complete the Specrer purchase of the encryption component?

Also, it seems like some of these are time sensitive. not availale after you go to far into the main storyline. (Hanar Diplomat Spectre.)

Ehm you got an error at the Rachni or Krogan decision. Choosing the Rachni defenitely doesnt give you 25 points. It gives 100. And you will find it on the alien section. And you 've got the +25 of Krogan too.
