I don't think it's technically a risk if you're "sacrificing" everything to gain something, it's more of a calculated loss. I guess a "risk" would be if you "jeopardize" everything for the *possibility* of gaining something.
But the thing you want better be pretty good if you're willing to give up everything you have to get it.

Not sacrificing, isn't a risk as much as it is fear. You should face your fears head on...the worst thing that can happen is you die. Really dieing is the best thing bc you'll be in heaven...

Well fear is the mind killer of many. Fear doesn't even really exist. It's just an emotion.

What do you mean by sacrificing everything? Give me a hypothetical situation. Sacrificing everything is never a smart thing to do if you are not completely confident you will be rewarded. Think of life as a game of poker. If you go all-in on a crappy hand only hoping you will win, the odds that you will win are slim. You will most likely lose everything, have a nervous breakdown, and then lose even more.

Or as holly says...worse thing is death. Classic situation is early days in business. Sacrifice is usually always a must. Especially with family...how much do you sacrifice family. How much is too much?

Sacrificing is an adjective for risk....No human is worth either.
