Rainhat I don't think it's technically a risk if you're "sacrificing" everything to gain something, it's more of a calculated loss. I guess a "risk" would be if you "jeopardize" everything for the *possibility* of gaining something.
But the thing you want better be pretty good if you're willing to give up everything you have to get it.-

trailofpen What do you mean by sacrificing everything? Give me a hypothetical situation. Sacrificing everything is never a smart thing to do if you are not completely confident you will be rewarded. Think of life as a game of poker. If you go all-in on a crappy hand only hoping you will win, the odds that you will win are slim. You will most likely lose everything, have a nervous breakdown, and then lose even more.-
stayfitbug Or as holly says...worse thing is death. Classic situation is early days in business. Sacrifice is usually always a must. Especially with family...how much do you sacrifice family. How much is too much?
