  Things Im Looking Forward To: 2011

  It's August and its coming to the autumn season near soon.

  The biggest games are soon to come out and it will be the best part of 2011 to date.

  The games im looking forward to and reasons why in order:

  Age of Empires Online - August 16th 2011 - PC

  Reason: Like in the previous blogs i said that i wanted a decent PC game to come out so i can enjoy through the time. Starcraft 2 is what i currently play on PC at the moment however the online is not as good as Warcraft 3 because of the limitations that Blizzard has brought on battlenet. World of Warcraft which i used to play 2 years ago was a decent online game to play because of the character progression. The next blizzard game i would get would be the Starcraft 2 expansion and Diablo 3. Age of Empires Online which includes lots of elements of an Online RPG game. I played the Age of Empires Online beta discovering how amazing the game is with a few bugs and flaws but the developers stated that it will be fixed by launch day and they will be incorporating missing features like Auction House, Civilizations and more.

  It will be coming out tommorow and im excited to start from fresh again (i had to start again twice during the beta restarts) but im used to restarts. I would maybe do a review of the game after a few months after the release.

  GamesCom - August 18th-23rd - Event

  Reason: GamesCom is famous for many game reveals in the past such as Fable 3 and the event offers many new details about upcoming games. This year GamesCom will be epic or even LEGENDARY because of what is going to be announced and featured.

  These are the games that are meant to be announced:

  GTA 5

  TimeSplitters 4

  Borderlands 2

  there are hopefully more games we dont know about yet to be announced too but it makes this week a great week. We shall see what happens and what new surprises await

  Final Destination 5 - August 26th 2011 - FILM

  Im looking forward to this new final destination, the last one was quite good in 3D (best 3D ive ever seen in terms of flying objects) but this one looks promising. I might review this after i watch this film

  Dead Island - September 9th 2011 - X360

  I can't remember when i was this excited for a zombie game. I remember how excited i was for Left 4 Dead until it turned out be a game i thought it was not, but this is different because Dead Island which has every element a player would want in a zombie game (maybe not every ). Getting to the point, Dead Island will be awesome.

  Gears of War 3 - September 20th 2011 - X360

  On 19th September 23:30, i will attend the midnight launch for Gears 3, like last year Call of Duty Black Ops midnight launch there would probably be a multiplayer game going on whilst lining up in the Queue. At the moment im practicing and getting ready for Gears 3 by playing Gears 2 online, im getting a lot better and learning to take cover more than just rushing in like a loonitic. I might do a little review of the midnight launch but all i know so far is that it will be packed full of gamers.

  Modern Warfare 3 - November 9th 2011 - X360

  I thought Black Ops would be better than Modern Warfare 2 but i was wrong, Black Ops had more weapons but turned out to be step-down. Modern Warfare 3 improves massively on the same engine as Modern Warfare 2 unlike Black Ops. The only thing i hear from Black Ops players is "Zombie Zombie Zombies.. braaaains".. its just really tedious of how Blacks Ops has become. Modern Warfare 3 will bring more new things to the series and it will bring back good times like i had with MOD 2, oh and quick scoping is back

  Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - November 11th 2011 - X360

  Skryim is sitting right next to Gears 3 as my most excited games coming out because Skryim for me is the master of all RPG's and it will be like how i played Oblivion but ten or hundred times better experience.

  Other Things -

  RAGE - X360: I know this game is meant to be really good but im not sure if i will get it on day one but maybe might pick it up, Gears 3 however will be impossible to avoid to play another game.

  FORZA 4 - X360: I want to get this but it depends if i can afford it and if i have enough time to play it. Forza for me is the casual fun game to play, forza 3 was refreshing to play and peaceful .

  The Sims 3 Pets - PC: Yes i will be getting this on day one for sure

  Goldeneye 007 - X360: Defiantly getting this

  Battlefield 3 - X360: Until i get more information about this game i might look into it

  TGS 2011 - Will be watching this and looking forward for the Resident Evil 6 announcement.

  Saints Row 3 - Im getting this but it all depends if i complete all GTA 4, Saints Row 1+2, i want to get the rest out of the way and i want to understand the story better with Saints Row.

  Paranormal Activity 3 - Might go see it. O_O

  Silent Hill Downpour - i want to get this but it depends when it comes out.

  Resident Evil Operation RacoonCity - i want to get this.

  Predictions -

  Here are my top ten predictions of the future -

  1) Timesplitters 4 will be announced during GamesCom, comes out on all platforms and to release end of 2012.

  2) GTA 5 will be coming out either end of 2012 or early 2013

  3) Borderlands 2 comes out in September next year, if delayed then November/October.

  4) Halo 4 will come out in Septemeber - Novemeber 2012

  5) Paranormal Activity 4 for October next year

  6) SplinterCell 6 will come out next year

  7) There will be more DLC for MK9, most likely Halloween (michael myers?)

  Modern Warfare 3 will beat Battlefield 3 in terms of sales, it will also be the best COD title and even better than COD 4.

  9) IPHONE 5 will come out october/november 2011

  10) Condemned 3 will be announced

  Zombie Games

  I am a fan of zombies and enjoy playing zombie games

  GAMES -

  Dead Island (2011) - This is going to be a very good zombie game coming out this year. It features open-world rpg with co-op features. The best thing about this game is that:

  1) Open World - It puts you in a massive open world island that is very large in scale, think like GTA 4.

  2) Realism - It takes skill to kill one zombie, so try fight hordes at the same time. Its gonna be tough.

  3) Doesnt Copy, It Adapts - I hate people saying this game is like left 4 dead because of the zombie types, this game adapts on a aspect of a game but doesnt actually take that model out and paste it in this game. The zombies come in all different variations

  4) slow zombies AND fast zombies - I love playing the Resident Evil games with the slow mindless zombies and enjoyed the fast zombies in left 4 dead, why not combine both and add more types in there? hell yeah!

  5) Customisation AND RPG - You can customise much more than Dead Risiing 2, there are RPG elements in the game, you level up and gain more skills. Adds huge replayability

  6) 4-player CO-OP - It being a OPTIONAL choice, meaning you can play with three other people but if you choose to play by yourself, then you are by yourself unlike left 4 dead where it gives you dumbass a.i bots, im so glad they did this because it makes it scary and less predictible when having bots saying "Did you hear that, omg thats a zombies i think?!" -_-

  Class 3/4 - (2012+)

  This is a codename for a game which is in development for Xbox 360 (only), class 3 being a 2 player co-op sandbox open world third person shooter game which precedes by class 4 adapting on class 3 but adding a massive online elements allowing thousands of people playing simitaneosly and has more weapons, items and such.

  Class 3 is going to be released on the Xbox Live Arcade

  Class 4 is going to be released as a stand alone game.

  More information will be coming out near the end of the year or next year.

  All my other games started to get boring but im looking forward to newer games this year, im looking forward mostly to Gears 3 and Skyrim because of the long lasting replaybility and features.

  Oblivion was such a epic game to play, i spent more than 500+ hours playing it and completed about everything in it, got 1250g and done all quests. It is one of those games that isn't classified as a game but more of an adventure, for me skyrim and mass effect 3 are easily the best full rpg games out so far.

  Gears 3 is also going to be epic, because you get everything in one big massive epic package: horde 2.0, campaign, beast, arcade, multiplayer, unlocks, medals, rewards, characters and much more. It is also the online multiplayer game i would play more than any other game.

  I traded in Dead Rising 1+2 because i completed both games and felt they were not as good as the other games ive played but i have recently looked up for the future survival horror games and some look promising.

  Resident Evil HD collections - might get this because i was a fan of the resi games long ago

  Resident Evil 6 - once it gets announced i might start scooping for info

  Class3/Class4 - codnames for a MMO zombie survival horror game for the xbox 360 arcade/game in future, wont be out by 2012 at the earliest, class 3 being the arcade title with co-op and class 4 expanding on class 3 adding fully functional online mmo function.

  Project Zomboid - just played the demo and it seems fun and quite interesting to play, might see how it goes

  Dead Island - Much of a suprise title to be announced few months back but its defiantly go my taste because its a open-ended survival horror rpg fps co-op. all in one meal.. brrrraaaains

  Silent Hill Downpour - Completed Silent Hill Homecoming and it was good, cant wait to try this new one out but it is meant to be as scary as the original so i guess im in for a treat. lol
