With all his big budget movies (Prince of Persia, Source Code) and romantic comedies (Love and Other Drugs), it's easy to forget that Jake Gyllenhaal also has a really unsettling cinematic sensibility.

After getting his big break with Donnie Darko, he embraced that creepy id with Jarhead, Zodiac and has now returned to the dark side in a new music video for The Shoes' Time to Dance.

Although after watching Jake play a very small screen version of American Psycho's Patrick Bateman, a more apt song title could be Time to Die. Watch -- but warning, the video features moments of graphic violence.
