    What is the point of Gamespot even having this guide, it is not anywhere close to being finished?

    @kainjacob
    Type "Skyrim UESP" into google search. That is the ultimate wiki site for every quest (and quest bug) in Skyrim.
    I won't lie - there are a lot of bugs. I've got tons of stuck quests in my journal that won't go away. But sometimes you can find a workaround on UESP. I've stopped playing for now until some patches to fix quests come out.

    For Ice Mages, your best bet is to put a paralysis agent on your bow or other weapon. This will give you a few seconds to get in close and hammer the guy with a mix of melee weapon, left-hand magical weapon (or shield, if you prefer), and shouts. Fire Breath is usually the best shout to use against cold-based enemies like Frost Dragons and Ice Mages.

    Why is the guides no longer downloadable PDF like they use to be. I mean what good is a guide if you have to go online to read it. Kind of hard to do if you are playing the game.....Right?

    @ZOD777
    It's not set to the draw distance of the console versions...It happens to me on the 360 too....It's simply the way they made it.

    The first time I speak to Malborn, It will not allow me to give any items, is there some special trick to this.

    @blago001 Hit "~" to bring up the command prompt and then type the code TGM. That is God-mode. Kill whoever you need to, get out of there, and type code TGM again. You do not want to cheat, right? :-)

    I've been in the dungeon for two days. Apparently I have killed all of the guards and there is no one left that has the key to the cave. Help!!!! Is there anyway to get the guards to come, that have the keys to the cave? I don't want to start the game over

    @Deltaforce2665 I take it you never tried to shoot a giant or mammoth from really long range. Arrows disappear in midair when they get to a certain distance on PC. This distance is probably the same distance as the maximum view distance for consoles. There is a tweak to the Skyrim.ini file that gets rid of the range issue. Now I can shoot the bow around 250-350 yards or so. Before that, the range was around 50-75 yards.

    Level 27 now I think. Playing on Expert difficulty for 99.9% of the game so far. I will say trying to beat any Ice Mage of any kind is suicide even on Expert -__-. Note - I am an Orc with Heavy Armour.

    I think the bow range is far too short. I even have zoom, but it seems like no matter what, even things like giants and mammoths cannot be hit at long range when CLEARLY visible. I hope they change that in a patch for PC. Besides, what is the point of zoom when I can hit things just as well without it? Bow range should be about double what it is.

    i don't blame people for not liking the elder scrolls...some people need to play games where you're held by the hand from start to finish...me i like the freedom to explore, to have a big world before me and be overwhelmed by it, i love the feeling that i can do what i want when i want to, and i love the fact that i paid 60 bucks and i'm about 125 hours into the game and i'm not near completion by a long shot....if you like paying 60 bucks for dumb 8 hours generic war-games that's your problem don't come on here and start bi*t*ng!!!

    my armor level is 1817 and my total damage with 2 one handed swords is 1100.... beastly... thats with enchants though. I have to play on master level for it to be a challenge. im at level 100 everything 81.5 is skill cap level. their is a mission in the north where you get a boog called ohgmus infinium and their is certain trick with the book that allows you to level up all skills to 100 if you know how to perform it. If you mess it up you will not be able to retry. I will not tell you the trick though. I am basically a God in skyrim.

    @Wall, the guild questlines may be short, but once u complete the guilds main questline you can continue to do quests for them, and more unique Non-miscellaneous quests will arise
