Nintendo Australia has just announced that the Nintendo DS (all of the models) has just passed more than three million units sold. For the last four years the Nintendo DS has been Australia’s number one selling console and with the year almost complete it looks like the DS will continue to be it again for 2011.

The original Nintendo DS was launched in 2005 in Australia with the DS Lite and DSi models being released in the years since.
