Yes. This is a great game. I have played Ninja Gaiden Sigma years ago on fat PS3.

Quite possibly the best pure 3rd person action combat fighting game of this or any other generation - which is some feat considering it's up against DMC and God Of War. GOW series has incredible graphics, sound and set piece moments, DMC has great over the top comic action but the swordplay combat here is a step above. NG Sigma was one of my first purchases for the PS3 and I'd be damned if I were to ever sell it. This game is the modern day Shinobi......nuff said.

Yes I'll vouch for Carolyn, this is definitely one of the best action games of all time. It's kind of like a Pink Floyd album, no matter how many times you play it, it never gets old. People never mention 'play control' anymore but I believe this game has the best play control of any game I've ever played. If you haven't played this game yet, do yourselves a favor and pick it up...and take an extra battery pack with you because you won't want to put it down.

@theshonen8899 I think NGSP is just a better game though. Ninja Gaiden has always been about the gameplay and all the best-action-game-ever-gameplay is still in here. If anything, I think an 8.0 is a low score for this type of game. That said, I can see why it is so 'low', because it is an old game nevertheless.

Uncharted has cool gameplay, but not as good as this (if you can compare it anyway) and it doesn't feature the set piece moments that usually make Uncharted games held in high regard.

So I think it makes sense.

@sagejonathan Why you're saying that?I started a little bit late, but for a game like this it's never late right?

@carolynmichelle Okay, I'll take your word on it. But it better be pretty damn good 'cause I'm loving Golden Abyss right now :]

@theshonen8899 This is a better game than Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Ninja Gaiden is one of the greatest action games of all time, and even years after its original release, the combat is still exceptional. The difference in score is not a mistake.

Another great review, Carolyn. Too bad I won't be picking this one up right now. I've experienced Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, so a fourth round is not something I find necessary right now.
