The “PTx2 Showcase” consists of a selection of exemplary projects and initiatives contributing to the objectives of the PTx2 strategy . It was launched in April 2011 in Dubai at the occasion of the 59^th UITP World Congress and Exhibition. The showcase will be regularly updated and fed with new entries.

Public transport stakeholders –authorities, operators, industry suppliers, academics, consultants and associations- are invited to apply with their projects/initiatives to be part of the Showcase. Stakeholders who have defined plans and have launched or are about to launch ambitious projects or initiatives to grow public transport market share by putting into practice one or several of the strategic areas identified by UITP will be selected in the Showcase.

The objective of the first UITP PTx2 Awards  handed over at the 59^thUITP World Congress and Exhibition in Dubai in April 2011was to recognise the efforts and reward the ambition of mobility stakeholders and their contribution to UITP’s strategy PTx2. In this respect, UITP rewarded stakeholders who have defined plans and have launched or are about to launch ambitious projects or initiatives to grow public transport market share by putting into practice one or several of the strategic areas identified by UITP.  See the list of winners of the first PTx2 Awards here.
