The Bottom Line
Although Tsubasa has yet to really "dig in", I still like the series. Its a pleasant, enjoyable watch complimented by various CLAMP favorites gracing the storyline.
Pros
- Fun compilation of CLAMP characters
- Five complete episodes
- Nice "World Guide" extra that takes you through the corresponding lands.
Cons
- Not as in-depth as many CLAMP fans would hope.
Description
- Based on the original manga from Del Rey
- Rated TV-PG
- Genres: Romance, supernatural, adventure, drama, fantasy
Guide Review - Tsubasa Volume 3 - Anime Review
Syaoran and friends arrive in the country of Jade during the winter. The villagers are plagued by the mysterious disappearance of their children, who seemed to be getting picked off one by one. The story goes that a princess from long ago(Emeraude - Magic Knight Rayearth)is somehow connected as is the strange feather that arrived a few hundred years ago.
Of course, Syaoran and the others know that the feather is one of Sakura's memories and must befriend some of the villagers to find out what they need to know. This isn't easy since they're newcomers and many of the locals believe they may have something to do with the disappearance as well.
