And as to be expected not just anyone can get here. Only those who can open the Aura Road have access and that privilege is limited to Dwellers of the Sea. Known as the A-Fellario, they can open the Aura Road and grab unsuspecting travelers into the city of the dead.

Silky Mau is one of the A-Fellario and is forced to take a motorcross racer named Sho Zama. Sho is brought to Byston Well to pilot an Aura Battler, a giant robot warrior that can only be controlled by those with exceptionally strong auras. Sho is just such a person and finds that being a Battler pilot isn't what he thought it would be.
