DBGT Movie and Contest News

From , former About.com Guide

Looking for some new DBGT? How bout a nice little contest to go along with it? Well... here you go :)

Honor, Perseverance, Dedication. The courage to do what is right.

Throughout the years Goku’s life burned as a beacon of truth, a prime example of a life well lived. His journey was a triumph of commitment and resolve. But the torch must pass. Now Goku, decades after departing this world, watches as his descendant undertakes his own journey of discovery, a journey where veiled dangers lurk at every turn, to uncover the amazing truth behind the Dragon Balls.

But, this is no ordinary journey. Goku Jr. must find his true strength and realize that the same fire that fueled the great Goku, burns inside this would be hero and some things never die.

Wait a minute.. Goku, Jr.? If you're a Dragonball GT fan, then you might remember Goku,Jr.'s debut in the very last episode. Fighting Vegeta, Jr., Goku, Jr. seems quite capable of dishing it out despite the fact that he's only one-sixteenth Sayain. But in the new Dragonball GT movie, Hero's Legacy, Goku, Jr. seems to be anything but heroic. In fact, Goku, Jr. is actually quite the coward. And what's worse? He hates training! Even so, Goku watches from the Otherworld and sees much of himself in his scaredy-cat descendant so he's not surprised when Goku, Jr. takes off on a dangerous and adventurous quest of his own.

Hero's Legacy hit the DVD stands on November 16th. For character bios and a trailer sneak peak, visit the official DBGT site.

Hold on a sec... wasn't there mention of a contest too? Why yes there was. :)
