"I'm going to pursue the mystery of the Blade Children." With these words, Kiyotaka Narumi vanished without a trace. Two years later, Kiyotaka's disappearance still haunts his younger brother Ayumu.

What are the Blade Children? That's the question of the day in Spiral, the newest anime acquisition from FUNimation Productions.

Kiyotaka is a famous detective (as well as a pretty darn good piano player). He embarks on a journey to investigate the Blade Children. But Kiyotaka is never heard from again and his brother, Ayumu is left to wonder what happened. Two years later, a mysterious string of murders draws Ayumu's attention to the Blade Children again. They believe that Ayumu is the key to their destiny. But why? Ayumu must discover the secret that haunts them before its too late.
