Description:

The International Marketing Director is responsible for the worldwide marketing and PR activities of Koch Media’s gaming division Deep Silver.
Actively taking part in the determination of the publishing strategy for the games portfolio and heading up an international marketing and PR team.
Reporting directly to the CEO of the Koch Media Group and working closely with key senior management for development and post production.

Responsibilities

• Develop long term marketing and communication strategies for key brands. Create (or manage the creation), implement and oversee the marketing and PR activities for all Deep Silver games.
• Manage the collaboration with key brand partners.
• Develop with the international marketing team the sales and marketing tools/kits to enable territories to exploit the full sales potential of the portfolio; organize and prepare on a regular basis product line-up meetings. Keep constant contact with the local marketing teams in the territories.
  Manage and oversee company’s PR activities and announcements; plan and organize Koch’s attendance at international fairs and events.
• Lead and develop the International Marketing Team at the Head Office in Planegg/Munich.
• Research and identify industry trends in videogame publishing.
• Analyze market data and actively take part in publishing decisions.

Qualifications
Senior Marketing Director level, and being an avid gamer with solid international background in the games industry. Able to demonstrate critical success factors in the marketing of core and online games with in-depth understanding and hands-on experience of commercial deals between publishers, licensors and media agencies. Entrepreneurial and dynamic, very well connected and respected in the games industry with an outgoing, communicative personality. Highly experienced manager of staff, fluent in English and used to travelling internationally on a regular basis.
