Every Tuesday, Sony brings its PlayStation faithful new content, add-ons for your favorite games, Themes and avatars for your PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Again another standard week of PSN goods you can get, but for the most part the main draw are going to be demos. Twisted Metal is finally going to hit store shelves and the fans of  the series will be eager to get their hands on the multiplayer demo now available.  

LAS VEGAS -- At CES 2012, Parrot debuted the AR.Drone 2.0, the new generation of its high-tech quadricopter that can be controlled by Wi-Fi using a smartphone or tablet. With a new high-definition camera, video recording, flight data sharing, new piloting mode, increased stability and brand-new look, the AR.Drone 2.0 will be available for purchase at selected retailers in Q2 2012 in the United States for $299. With new Android rival tablets showcased in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012), Apple is apparently ramping up production in China for a March launch for its much-anticipated iPad 3. The new device is expected to feature an HD screen that rivals HD TV sets, a quad core processor for multitasking and 4G LTE support, according to Bloomberg.

With new Android tablets on display everywhere at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) in Las Vegas, there’s good news for retailers this year. Ecommerce software developer Ability Commerce has reported that its full-service clients saw an explosion in holiday revenue stemming from Android devices, as consumers bought everything from videogames to electronics in record numbers using mobile devices instead of the traditional PC. Mobile shopping overall was a huge success as retailers experienced increased visits, transactions and revenue across all of the major operating systems. The Galaxy Note tablet is shown in the video below from CES 2012, and is sure to introduce even more consonumers to mobile shopping, as well as gaming.

LAS VEGAS - At AT&T's Developer Summit being held here in Las Vegas ahead of the opening of CES 2012, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer made a surprise appearance to help launch some new Windows Phones from HTC and Nokia. As he often does, Ballmer ran on stage with an excited scream as he was introduced by AT&T's CES Ralph de la Vega on stage.

LAS VEGAS -- At the AT&T Developers Summit keynote being held at CES 2012, Samsung's Kevin Packingham showed its new hybrid phone/tablet device - the Galaxy Note. With a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual core processor, 8 megapixel back and 2 megapixel front camera, the new Galaxy Note is a tweener mobile device that sits in between a tablet and a smartphone. The hybrid device will support AT&T's fast new 4G LTE network as well as AT&T's legacy 3G network. It also has a stylus pen which Samsung is calling the S-Pen which will allow Galaxy Note users to input to the device using handwriting as well as do doodles when you're bored. Pricing and availabiity werre not announced.

Hollywood stars, sports legends, musical icons and entertainers will attend the 2012 International CES to showcase and promote the innovative products and technologies shaping consumer technology. The 2012 International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, is scheduled January 10-13, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sprint tipped off 2012 NBA All-Star Balloting  during a special event in Orlando, the official host city of NBA All-Star 2012. The 61st NBA All-Star Game, which will air live on TNT and ESPN Radio in the U.S., and reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages, will be played at the Amway Center on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. Despite the lockout and the shortened season, the NBA will take a break to celebrate the biggest names in basketball. Gamers won't have to rely on 2K Sports' NBA 2K12 to simulate the celebration of basketball this year. Traditionally, EA Sports, 2K Sports and Sony PlayStation have all taken part in the All Star festivities.
