These platformers have offered up Playstation owners grand experiences and have created life-long fans of the brand. Characters have appeared in numerous other genre titles, and some of the duos have had their stand-alone titles. Now, developer Insomniac Games is introducing two of the series well-known villains in the series--Captain Qwark and Doctor Nefarious as playable characters in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.

LAS VEGAS (CES) -- Google made official its new Android 3.0 mobile operating system, code-named Honeycomb, by posting a video on its site showing off the new OS following Verizon's LTE 4G Press Conference. At the press conference, Verizon demoed the new Motorola Xoom Tegra 2-based tablet. Android 3.0 is the first Android operating system optimized for the tablet and its bigger screen. Previously, Android Tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab used slightly modified phone versions of Android 2.2, which were not designed for tablets.

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America (MDEA) announced the launch of its nationwide 3D Experience Tour, which will introduce its lineup of theater-like immersive 3D DLP Home Cinema Televisions to U.S. consumers. The tour packs Mitsubishi’s latest and greatest 3D TV technology into Mitsubishi’s Mobile Marketing Showroom, a 995 sq. ft. 18-wheeled home theater experience that gives viewers across the country the chance to experience the industry’s largest and broadest lineup of 60-inch plus large-screen 3D-capable TVs available today.

At CES 2010, 3D was the overriding message. With James Cameron’s Avatar still pulling in 3D revenue at the box office, Hollywood and the videogame industry are now focusing on bringing 3D home. The Blu-ray Disc Association’s announcement in December last year on the finalization of the Blu-ray 3D specification has been cemented by Sony’s release of a standalone 3D-Ready Blu-ray player, firmly fixing the industry’s crosshairs on a 3D future.
