Every Tuesday, Sony brings its PlayStation faithful new content, add-ons for your favorite games, Themes and avatars for your PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Again another standard week of PSN goods you can get, but for the most part the main draw are going to be demos. Twisted Metal is finally going to hit store shelves and the fans of  the series will be eager to get their hands on the multiplayer demo now available.

Another week is upon us and another batch of new content has arrived on Xbox Live. If you were a fan of Rockstar's L.A Noire. Then you will happy to see that all the DLC for the game is at a low price. If you were holding out on getting the DLC for the game then now is your chance. As personal recomendation, I would get the Nicholson Electroplating case and skip out on Reefer Madness.

Another game you can get thanks to your PSN Plus membership is Sword & Soldiers. It's an enjoyable 2D sidescrolling strategy game that is highly replayable with a group of friends.

In anticipation of its IPO, Zynga showcased new games at Zynga Unleashed, its first media event hosted by CEO and Founder Mark Pincus held at its new San Francisco headquarters. The company gave a sneak peek of several new social games, including the next chapter in its Ville franchise and teased its own new play service, code named Project Z. CastleVille is the newest game heading to Facebook. Cityville, the last title in the franchise, has over 74 million gamers. There’s also a new Zynga Casino that features Zynga Poker and the newly announced Zynga Bingo to create the world’s largest and most social casino. The company is also launching a new Hidden Objects genre with the social game, Hidden Chronicles.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has launched The Big Bang Theory: Mystic Warlords of Ka’a. The new free-to-play Facebook game is based on the fictional fantasy card game that characters the hit CBS TV show have played over the past four seasons. The fifth season of the Warner Bros. Television comedy kicked off on its new Thursday night and the series has also entered into syndication. Now, there’s also the first video game, which fits nicely within the gamer mentality of the show’s characters.

Zynga had a very good year last year, and now the company is offering you the opportunity to get in on the action. Zynga filed for a $1 billion IPO today with Morgan Stanley & Co. and Goldman, Sachs & Co. serving as book running managers and representatives of the underwriters for the offering. The game maker that has lured hundreds of millions of gamers with titles like Farmville, Cityville and Empires & Allies is going public.

AT&T has signed a deal with social games developer Zynga, designed to bring the very latest in mobile social gaming to AT&T’s millions of wireless customers. Popular games such as Words with Friends and Zynga Poker, plus customized content, will be featured for download on AT&T’s shelf in Android Market later this year. The agreement is the first of its kind between Zynga and a U.S. wireless carrier.

Zynga is going Hollywood. The social gaming giant has added DreamWorks SKG co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg to its board of directors in an attempt to work more closely with Hollywood film and television properties. The San Francisco-based online game developer previously worked with DreamWorks on the 3D blockbuster Megamind, integrating the feature film into its Facebook hit FarmVille. BOSTON -- Wizards of the Coast today announced the Magic: The Gathering 2012 product line-up featuring the Magic: The Gathering 2012 Core Set for the paper trading card game (TCG). Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 will ship this summer on Xbox LIVE  Arcade, PC/Steam and PlayStation Network this summer. These new games were on display at PAX East in Boston this weekend.

Zynga, the company behind Facebook hits like Cityville and Farmville, is bringing the virtual world to Sin City. The game publisher has assembled a poker celebrity lineup at the inaugural Zynga Poker fan event, Zynga PokerCon, taking place March 18 and 19 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Hundreds of Zynga Poker fans in attendance will gain access to the Zynga Poker University led by world-renowned professional poker player Annie Duke. Additional poker legends attending the event include Doyle Brunson, Scotty Nguyen, Gavin Smith, Antonio Esfandiari, Vanessa Rousso and Mike Sexton. Zynga Poker fans will also be privy to award-winning rapper, singer and record producer B.o.B.’s exclusive and intimate show for Zynga PokerCon attendees.

SAN FRANCISCO, California – One of the driving themes at GDC 2011 is the growth of casual games beyond the traditional gaming audience. Today, nearly half (46 percent) of social gamers are at least 50 years old and dominated by women, according to recent social gaming research from casual game developer Popcap Games.  The average social gamer in the U.S. is a 48-year-old woman. In fact, 20 percent of social gamers were 60 or older. Social gaming is a fast-growing pastime for older Americans.This discovery reveals an interesting trend among older Americans and opens up a new opportunity for game developers.

Tabula Digita is celebrating the home launch of its educational math videogame software with a national scholarship tournament and free software. To date, DimensionU has only been available in schools. Now through May 1, 2011, young people will be able to download a special tournament version of the DimensionU learning system for math for Free so they can participate in the U Games National Scholarship Tournament.
