Twisted Metal is one of those amazing Sony franchises from back in the PSone era. It was the quintessential multiplayer title--I recall going to friends' houses--with 10 of us crowded around the system camped out on a rooftop detonating buildings from afar with Axel in Twisted Metal 2. Twisted Metal 3 and 4 weren't the greatest moments in the franchise due to the change from now Incognito Studios to Sony's 989 studios, but Twisted Metal: Black on the PS2 steered the series back in the proper direction. Since, we've seen appearances on the PSP with Twisted Metal: Head On and re-releases of Twisted Metal installments on the PSN. Now it's time for Twisted Metal to bring its vehicular carnage to the PS3.
