Tourism sector sees 8.2 percent growth

Havana, Dec 29 (RHC) According to the Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, the tourism sector will close the year with the arrival of 2.7 million international visitors, an 8.2 per cent increase compared to 2010.

AviancaTaca Airline Inaugurates Direct Flight Between El Salvador and Cuba

Havana, -- According to the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, the Latin American airline AviancaTaca inaugurated direct flights between San Salvador, El Salvador, and Havana, Cuba, which will operate three times a week. A group made up of employees of AviancaTaca, tour leaders, travel agents, and the press were on the first flight. AvaiancaTaca Holding S.A. is a joint company made up of the Colombian airline Avianca and the Panamanian airline TACA.
