Last.fm Presents: Amaranthe

So last night in London we had the wonderful Glasvegas, Two Wounded Birds and Es Muss Sein giving everyone in the sold out crowd a true night to remember. Now that the dust has settled, it’s time to move forward and look to our next night which has a slightly different feel. We have teamed up with the great people at Spinefarm Records to bring you Swedish metal giants Amaranthe plus support from label mates Dynazty and Soen (their first ever UK show). The night of noise takes place on Tuesday 22nd May at the Relentless Garage in London. For more info on the event and ticket info, take a look at our event page here

Last.fm Live in NYC: Nite Jewel

The West Coast synth-songstress Nite Jewel plays Bowery Ballroom on April 24th for the third installment of Last.fm Live in NYC. Nite Jewel (born Ramona Gonzalez) has steadily climbed our Hype Charts since her 2009 debut Good Evening, and now her position in the world of electronic pop has secured itself with a stellar new album – One Second Of Love. Also on the bill are Mac DeMarco and Sophia Knapp; the former a purveyor of dusty, melodic synth jams, and Sophia the rising queen of throwback A.M. pop radio.

Last.fm Presents @ Field Day: Free Gold Panda Track

Berlin based, London born Gold Panda has been making serious waves since his debut Lucky Shiner back in 2010 - an album that has scrobbled a massive 2,259,574 times. His blend of lush melodic techno, chopped up with hip-hop beats and natural yet obscure samples have been a hit with tastemakers across the board. With that in mind, go ahead and check out this free download of ‘MPB’ he’s supplied us with ahead of his live performance at the Field Day festival in London. Oh and don’t forget - Last.fm Presents are proudly hosting a stage there so stay tuned for more on our lineup! We already announced Summer Camp and Last Dinosaurs in our post below but there’s much more to come. More info on Field Day can be found here.

Last.fm Presents: Folks and The Sundowners

Following on from our successful partnership with HP last year, which bought artists such as Ghostpoet, DELS, The Boxer Rebellion, We Are Augustines and The Leisure Society to the stage, we can present to you the ‘Turn On The Sound Inside’ Live Series, in association with HP. The Last.fm live experience will be leaving London and heading to the north of England for a series of free shows. The first stop is next Tuesday 27th March at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds featuring Folks and The Sundowners, with Folks having just returned from European dates with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Belakiss, on the flyer above, unfortunately had to pull out due to illness. Catch these bands whilst you still can in a small venue, all for free. Entry is on a first come first served basis - click here for more info. See you there!
