Robert Griffin III, or RG3 for short, has been getting some major attention since he wrapped up his college football career at Baylor University.  He's been racking up big numbers at the NFL Combine this weekend, including setting a running record.  And while several NFL teams are in the hunt for him this coming season, he's still going to be in the forefront of college action, as EA Sports has announced today that RG3 will be on the cover of its upcoming NCAA Football 13, set to drop in stores this July.

As you can see by the cover art we've included, Robert takes a prominent place in the artwork, right there up front.  But in case you didn't see it, there's room for another player.  EA Sports is looking to pair up RG3 with a fellow Heisman trophy winner, and they're leaving it up to the fans to decide which player they want to join him.

These candidates include former USC running back Marcus Allen, former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie, former Ohio State running back Eddie George, former Michigan wide receiver Desmond Howard, former Oklahoma State University running back Barry Sanders, former Georgia running back Herschel Walker, former Florida State quarterback Charlie Ward and former University of Houston quarterback Andre Ware.  Voting kicks off on March 10th, and we'll provide a link once it goes live so you can vote to your heart's content.

Meanwhile, get ready for RG3 mania when the game arrives for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on July 10th.  I'm sure some team will have snagged him by then...if not before.
