WILD HORSE HERO!

Would you like to be an important part of helping to protect and conserve the wild horses of the Currituck Outer Banks? Give a gift with meaning? Involve your classroom or organization in a worthwhile project? CWHF is offering an exciting new program that benefits the wild horses and gives you the opportunity to be a “Wild Horse Hero.”

There are two ways to participate:
1. Sponsor a wild horse for $45. You can choose your favorite wild stallion from the list and photos we provide.
2. Sponsor horses awaiting adoption for $50. Horses with life-threatening injuries or illnesses are captured and removed from the beach for treatment. Once exposed to domestic horses, they cannot return to the wild, as domestic horses carry diseases for which the wild horses have no immunity. It then becomes our responsibility to gentle them and find them a loving, forever home.

All Sponsors will receive a beautifully embossed presentation folder, complete with a color photo of the horse, an official adoption certificate, and information about his or her life. Sponsors will receive quarterly updates on the activities and location of their horse.
