Mr. Manfred Altstadt, CPA, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mutual of America has overall responsibility of all financial operations of the parent company and all its subsidiaries.

   Mr. Altstadt also serves on the Board of Directors of all subsidiaries of Mutual of America. Mr. Altstadt joined Mutual of America in 1977.

   Mr. Altstadt is also a board member of the Real Estate Board of New York (Owners Committee) and the Calvary Hospital Fund.

   His previous experience includes 5 years with Deloitte and Touche, an international accounting firm where he specialized in the audits of life insurance companies. Mr. Alstatd received his BA from New York University in 1972 and is a certified Public accountant (NY). He has served on various committees of the American Council of Life Insurance and currently serves on several committees of the Life Insurance Council of New York.

   Mr. Alstadt resides with his wife Elaine and daughters Amanda and Elizabeth in Monroe, New York.
