Naljeogigeul

Naljeogigeul is an alternative script for Korean created by Bae Jun in summer 1994 when he was a high school student. It's a syllabic system based on Hangul, and the shapes of the letters are particially influenced by Hangul, Hebrew, Cyrillic and other various scripts. The initial idea was to construct an easily memorable secret code for writing Korean. Later Bae Jun developed an alphabetic version of Naljeogigeul to make it easier to write other languages.

Naljeogigeul means "diary script" in Korean. Bae Jun has used this script to write his diary since 1997.
